high school nostalgia.

Friday, July 11th, 2008 at 7:18 pm

my brother recently did a radio show of influential high school songs. so i made a list of my own. and i stole one of his - although he admitted to stealing my tape of the said band in high school - so i think it’s fair. this is a preliminary and slightly embarrassing list. i might think of more later. please feel free to add your own. particularly if they are more embarrassing than mine.

1. the descendants - bikeage

2. heavens to betsy - stay away

3. the get up kids - don’t hate me

4. nofx - the brews

5. propagandhi - i was a pre-teen mccarthyist

6. rainer maria - feeling neglected

7. the donnas - skintight

8. discount - half fiction

9. sarge - fast girls

10. minor threat - out of step

p.s. this blog is syndicated through livejournal at breagrantblog. just wanted you to be aware of that fact.

    Brea,

I have to say that i love your music taste. I think i learned from the best… haha. Zane sent me a cd last year at bromley brook. It was awesome. It was so nice talking to you last night. I’m still having a problem getting used to my cousin being semi-famous. =D
I hope to see you sometime soon.

    Love,
    S-R
