here’s a link to the la times blog post about heroes with interviews with me and zach quinto.

that was a pretty fun day for them to come to set. a few more articles should be out soon as well.

second daphne comic.

Tuesday, August 12th, 2008

here’s a link to the second issue of the daphne graphic novel on nbc.com - http://www.nbc.com/Heroes/novels/novels_display.shtml?novel=98

that pretty much gets you up to speed on daphne’s background before the first episode airs (september 22nd).

here’s a non-attractive picture of me on set in a robe because i was cold and with slippers on because my feet hurt. i looked in the mirror and laughed at how non-glamorous working on a television show or film can be. also - my iphone takes terrible photos.

daphne graphic novel

here’s the link!

explains some stuff before you see the first episode (or if you were at comic con and have already seen it).

…also the heroes webisodes are pretty rad too. i just watched them for the first time the other day.

Comic Book Resources

new article on Comic Book Resources about me and Heroes. i like it. it’s the first time i got to talk about comics in an interview.

and all the comic suggestions are awesome. keep them coming! i read non-stop so any reading suggestions are always great to me. i mostly stick to comics, sci-fi, and history books (there was a reason i was an American Studies major and that reason is i’m a nerd). but i’ll read most anything.

good sci-fi movie suggestions are cool too.

last movie i saw: The Host - awesome Korean monster film, but did anyone else have trouble following some parts? it’s like they took out some essential plot points. how did they get away from the cops after they escaped the first time?

currently reading: The Glamour Factory by Ronald Davis - a book on the history of Hollywood, well researched but not for those who don’t like to sit down and read history. it has some great stories though about the studio system and particularly the heads of the studios. i’ll try to include one later.

Blog!

redoing a lot of stuff so any suggestions would be greatly welcomed. a couple of my friends want to do a “ask brea’s friends” section - basically where i’m assuming they want to spill all my dirty secrets. a few other suggestions are more behind-the-scenes pics and a better bio.

a link to the Corpse Run website - corpserunmovie.com i watched it tonight and it’s very cool. if you were ever a video game nerd, you’ll love it. if you didn’t play them, you still might think it’s clever. here’s a trailer for you to convince you:

in case you didn’t see some of the articles, here’s a few links to a few articles about my new role in Heroes - TV Guide blog, TV Squad, Ain’t It Cool News, and CNN
