I similarly spent a summer in high school renting out Blockbuster’s entire horror section with my best friend: Demonic Toys, Evil Dead 1 and 2, Jack Frost (cheestastically awesome if you haven’t seen it), I Spit on Your Grave, Dawn of the Dead, Puppet Master, Sleepaway Camp 1 and 3 (they sadly didn’t have part 2).
It sounds like WE WILL BURY YOU could be like a zombie version of Ed Brubaker’s CRIMINAL, where each standalone story arc features a new protagonist but all the stories are part of the same, larger, noir world. I love CRIMINAL’s format, so if that’s where WE WILL BURY YOU is headed, I’d be very happy.
It’s amazing you and Zane get along so well. My sister and I were close as kids too, but a few years ago when we were planning my parents’ 30th Anniversary party, we nearly killed each other. I never knew a fight over round or rectangular tables could get so heated.
Havent seen you guys in along time. Realy happy to see yall get out there and have a little fun. Tell Zane that Jeff said damn homie you got ugly.
