Holy crap, that’s fantastic!
Maybe there’ll be an episode of Heroes that gets really wacky and you all face off against similarly-powered comic characters. I’m sure you could take ‘em both.
soooooo cool
I Like the hair, it’s awesome

No problem, Brea. Thank you for posting the artwork and the links. My blog got a boatload of hits thanks to you.
Thanks for all the nice comments everyone. It’s always great to get feedback about my artwork. And it’s interesting to see the elements that people picked out to compliment. I think every single thing that was mentioned was something I got intensely concerned about at some point in the process of drawing the picture.
Marco: Thanks. It was super difficult trying to get the hair right. I had no idea how Brea’s hair would move at superspeed. I’ve never seen anyone with hair like Brea’s run (when she runs on the show, she’s always just a blur), heck I’ve never seen anyone else with her hairstyle period, so trying to figure out how to make it move was something I was worried about from the beginning. I’m glad it worked out at the end.
Cynthia: Thank you. The wind-effect is a classic comic book speedster element, so I had to put it in. With the Flash it was easy. But with Quicksilver and Daphne, the light hair color made it more difficult to render. And I was worried the effect wouldn’t work as well. Ultimately, it’s still one of the elements I’m least satisfied with. But I’m very nit-picky with my own work.
fefe: Thank you for saying “it’s daphne dead on.” My biggest worry had to be getting Brea’s likeness right. I think it’s still a little off, but I’m glad it’s close enough that the inaccuracies are mostly only noticeable to me.
Bruna: Speedy Gonzalez could still be in there, he’d just be out of frame.
